JRSS is a blind peer reviewed international journal aiming on both the theoretical and practical aspects of reliability and statistics. The manuscripts submitted to the journal are put on plagiarism test first and those having similarity index below 20% are sent to at least three reviewers of the relevant field. The manuscripts having more than 20% similarity index are sent back to the authors for modification in such a manner that similarity index does not go beyond 20%. After this the authors are asked to submit the manuscript online through the web site of JRSS to one of the Editorial Member of the concerned filed. The concerned Editorial Member gets the manuscript reviewed at his/her hand from the reviewers proposed by the authors or from the list of reviewers already existing in the database of JRSS or from any other reviewers of the relevant field of his/her choice. After receiving at least two review reports, the decision regarding acceptance/rejection/modification of the manuscript is taken by the Editorial Member concerned and is conveyed to the authors. The authors submit the modified manuscript again to the same Editorial Member, if not rejected and it is sent again to the same reviewers to see whether the issues raised by them have been addressed by the authors properly or not. Finally modified manuscript, which may be a several step process is sent by the concerned Editorial Member to the Editor-in-Chief of JRSS along with the review reports for further processing. The original, not-previously published research manuscripts on topics such as the following (but not limited to) are considered for publication:

  • Applied Statistics
  • Bayesian Statistics
  • Biostatistics
  • Computational Statistics
  • Demography
  • Design of Experiments
